Lucas County was recently awarded nearly one million dollars to improve the energy efficiency of County facilities. The dollars were awarded through the Ohio Department of Development federal Energy Efficiency Conservation Block Program. For the official press release, please click here.

The rain barrel and composter sale sponsored by American Rivers, the City of Toledo, and the Toledo-Lucas County Rain Garden Initiative is going on right now! On Thursday, March 12th, at 2:00pm the Toledo-Lucas County Plan Commissions will hold a public hearing on a text amendment regarding green infrastructure for stormwater management. The hearing will be help at One Government Center at Jackson Boulevard and Erie Street in Council Chambers.
