Waste Reduction and Recycling
  • Recycle paper, cardboard, newspaper, glass, metal, plastic
  • Use electronic billing practices
  • Reuse packing and shipping materials

Green Purchasing
  • Buy products in bulk
  • Buy concentrated products
  • Purchase products from local vendors
  • Purchase recycled toilet paper and paper towels
  • Use paper with at least 30% post consumer waste

Energy Efficiency and Conservation
  • Replace light bulbs with compact fluorescent light bulbs or LEDs
  • Use motion sensors and lighting controls
  • Make sure lights are off when leaving the facility

Water Conservation and Pollution Prevention
  • Follow the City and County water regulations 
Staff Training and Public Awareness 
  • Offer customers green service or amenity options 

Healthy Living
  • Consider dietary restrictions of employees and/or customers (have available vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free food options) 
  • Offer healthy food selections to employees and/or customers
  • ​Encourage living a healthy lifestyle
  • Non-GMO, organic milk from Hartzler's Farm​​
Future Plans:
  • Offer more vegan options

Community Involvement
  • Offer free beverages at local events
  • Donate day old food to either Little Sisters of the Poor or Cherry Street Mission
